Semper Fi

"Are you reporting a failure of the mission?" "Sir, no, sir". "Semper fi."

The more we bleed in training, the less we bleed in battle. The more we are prepared, the less the opportunity of defeat. Ask questions. Ask again. Ask yet again. Semper fi.

It was not Jesus that said, "I have a way about me." but it could have been. Semper fi.

On Father’s Day, 102,000,000 cards will be sent. That is a half billion dollars in cards. Father’s Day began in 1910, January 19.

Sometimes, we Dads are pushed where we need to go. It is not for dads to be comfortable. It is for us to lead. Then again, that seems to fit all parents, and you know, every single adult walking this planet. Semper fi.

Charlie Rose said today that his friend Lance Armstrong said, "Ask for help. Get several opinions of those you trust, and if you do not know for yourself, do what they say." Dads among Dads that we all may humbly follow those that know what we do not. Semper fi.

The world’s wisdom is not God’s way.

Equality without war.

Equality without law.

Equality with moral authority.

With no chip on your shoulder.

Expect things to change.

Semper fi.

Some things do not come to stay; they come to pass.

The best is yet to come.

How can that be?

It is not for us to know.
