Committed by Leo Crocker Rogers
0400. The barrack’s lights come on. The men are in their bunks rubbing their eyes. They are told to stand at attention. They jump out of their bunks to stand tall, but it is too late. Doing what one is told after one is told is always too late to be the best. The requirement is, "When the lights come on, they are to be at attention." Before whatever is required, we are to be ready. Before we are told, we are to have done the job. We are Committed.
