Dan Rather – there goes a good reporter. Mavericks. WE have to provide their path and protect their posterior.

When you finally understand that it is not when you start a race that matters, only when you finish.
And you understand that 99.9% of all races are won by those that start at the sound of the gun.
That the very talented can do most things whenever they want – start late and still win.
But that those of us of less talent have to see the sun rise to prosper during the day.
Then:
You are in my house. These rules I know. Show up. Be inspired or slug it out whichever works.

The Romans ruled by roads.
The Brits by ships.
The USA by atomic bombs.
Careful those dogs bite.

Corn crops need N2. Plant the corn as we need the corn.
Later, plant a bean next to the root of the corn. The bean generates N2.
Self enriching.
Couples should be like that.

The rattle snake gains a section of rattle each time it sheds its skin. Rattle snakes shake their tails when alarmed and this warns others to stay away. But every sword cuts two ways. When the snake rattles, it reveals its location which places it in danger of its life. Over the years, it has been the rattle snake that has a weak rattle, or that has learned not to rattle that lives longest. As a result, rattle snakes are becoming quieter as the years move on. Would it so be for people.

If we are not willing to work together, why do we talk? Recreation?

A distracted person is a person off his mission. That person is smelling the roses in a field of land mines.

In Washington D.C. 95% of a charter school students go to college. To get in, there is a lottery.
In the very same W. D.C. district, public school education does not even consider college for its students. To have to go to that school is punishment.]] 20/20 090106
